MTC Photography
With proper microfilm, the high resolution of COMPLAN lens is ableto record up to 900 characters per square mm on film. Such density is still not up tomicrodot standard, but is a very condense microfiche. A 8x11mm microfiche can store up to 79000 characters.
A 1 squre mm cut of from such a dense microfilm can serve as sort of amateur "microdot'.
An Emoscop is perfectly suitable for reading microfilm or a piece of amateur "microdot', without expensive equipment.
At 30x microscope mode, a tiny 1/30mm width character will be magnified to 1mm wide, easy to read.
