brian_stofik
first question is can it use a canon film 75-200mm lens and my second question is what are best settings for shooting objects with no tripod in day time light.
michaeljlawson
The XTI is compatible with any of the EF or EF-S lenses. The second part of the question is hard to answer. Hand held in good light with a 75-200 should be no problem. Couldn't possibly tell you the settings not knowing more of the conditions or desired results. James G. Dainis
To avoid camera shake/blur the rule of thumb is to set the shutter speed equal or faster than the focal length of the lens used. You would have to figure the focal length multiplier of the of the XTi into that. At the 200mm end, 200 x 1.6 = 320 means use a shutter speed of 1/320 or faster. James G.
