valentina_komarova
Could anyone recommend me 6 to 9 months long photography courses in London? I'm experienced amateur willing to become professional and polish the skills so the general photography course covering the basics of all areas will be perfect for me. Photography courses at the University of the Arts London look good to me - could anyone comment on them?
BernardMiller
Dunno about those. Have you looked at what Goldsmith's offers? May be more expensive than what you had in mind, but probably more in-depth as well.
carmen_loofah
I studied at London College of Communication, part of the University of the Arts, highly regarded and justifiably so, i took three ten week courses and later a one year course in black and white film photography....I would particularly recommend the courses run by the School of Media as opposed to the School of Graphic Design...the best tutors were Manuella Zanotti who teaches reportage portraiture and Adrian Mott who teaches studio and professional practice diploma....good luck....I studied with one student from Goldsmith's and his course in urban environment and photography (post grad) seemed unique and interesting...but I have not studied there....my best advice would be to take a course at a university or a further education college....as there are loads of private providers waiting to fleece you...I am now looking at courses at Camberwell College, also part of the University of the Arts and highly regarded for printing too.... pdeek
Is there any college or photography school like Hallmark.edu in London / UK ? Just specialising in photography & train the student to be professional. It's more practical.
