g._armour_van_horn
Help! I'm about to use my JOBO CPE-2 (not Plus) for the first time, and the manual I have is for the CPE-2 Plus, as is the information on their website. The instructions say to set the motor control knob to 75, which appears to be the only setting on that model. My knob has the choice of 1, 0, or 2. I'm leaning toward going with 1, as the 2 seems pretty radical. I'll be souping two rolls of 135-36 Sensia in a 1520 tank with Kodak one-shot chemicals, if that makes any difference. skip_a
This might help. http://www.jobo-usa.com/faq/cpevscpe+.htm It's a comparison of CPE-2 to CPE-2 Plus, and says to use the higher speed (65). Also, see "Rotation Speed" in the E-6 Color Transparency (Slide) Film link on this page http://www.jobo-usa.com/instructions/instructions_process_index.htm
g._armour_van_horn
Thanks, I'm about ready to launch in. High speed it is. Van
ronald_moravec1
High speed beats up the machine more than necessary. Start on high for 30 sec, med for 30 sec then go to low. Been doing this for years.
