Any comments on this or if have otherideas on storing to protect from a fire. The media safes/file cabinets are nicebut much more expensive for larger ones, I need to store photo albums withprinted pictures not negatives etc. Thanks! steve_dittmar Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 I would be careful of moisture damage.the darkness and fireproofing sound good, though. you can buy dessicant bags ( a moisture absorbing chemical) cheap enough. and check the safe's fire rating- they vary greatly.
