art_haykin
In 1948, I was 19, and "Hot Rod" was a dirty term to most adults. I had a T roadster with a Model A engine. I also was into shooting, photography, and later, into skin diving. Those magazines were our Bibles. At first, if you didn't get to the newsstand early, Hot Rod would be sold out. Petersen's career in publishing is one of the most outstanding in history, and he started with NOTHING!
