andrea_robinson
Hi. I received an e-mail, that was picture... not an attachment there were links to e-mail/website. How did they do that?, anybody know?... Unfortunately I'm not able to ask them... Any ideas would be great.
my
The body of that email msg, was html and not plain text. The image was embedded with an HTML img tag. Outlook Express (free email client shipped with IE) can do that for you, just creating a new msg., going to format - html and then clicking on the body, goint to the menu to inset - picture.<br> Cheers
emre
You can also embed images into e-mails. Most e-mail clients are capable of decoding them. What do you use, Outlook?

mark_sirota1
There are many ways to do this; the cleanest does not involve HTML. You just send a message with a single part, and the MIME type of that part should be image/jpeg instead of text/plain. Of course, not all e-mail clients are capable of generating such messages. What e-mail software are you using?
bueh
To say nothing about that many people's email filters will delete such an image-only message immediately as spam.
