mountainvisions Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 Not a clue. For the *ist D I just call it the Pentax D. The *ist 35mm I'm forced to say the *ist 35mm. They screwed me with that one. But I agree, the * is a wildcard. So my ist 35mm could be a Canonist 35 or a nikorist 35. Really it's very creative. Wasn't that the theme of all those old cheese Agasi Rebel comercials? Anyway, as you can tell even hard core pentaxians don't really love the naming scheme. However, all the *ist were nice cameras.
