bernard_frank
Allen, you're right. Cancer has always existed, let's stop looking for a cure. War has always existed, let's stop fighting for peace. Pollution has existed for a very long time, let's keep emitting mortal gas by the millions of tons. Inept and corrupted governments have always existed, let's keep re-electing the same buffoons. Now, that's a political conscience. No wonder...
Allen Herbert
Allen, you're right. Cancer has always existed, I love to be right, i sort of get a warm feeling in my left buttock.Yes, we all know about the wickness, and in our own selfish ways we try to make it better. We really don't need someone to tell us all about it....because we know, honest we do.
Allen Herbert
Every day we go to work,Bernard, hopefully the boss is happy with what we do. We have wives and kids who want and we try to do our best for them. Life is not easy for us, and on occasion we have something left over for ourselves. The problems of the world are remote, keeping a roof over our heads, and food in our bellies is not. We do our best for charities, often not enough, and we try to vote in a way that will be beneficial to all, however, our choices are limited in the way of the world. Life is not a bowl of cherries for anyone my friend so try in your heart to cut us some slack.
lee hamiel
A new angle to this whole saga:) I have a friend who's a pro photographer & do not wish to reveal his identity but he is connected with the Hilton family. A couple of years ago we were talking & the "Paris Tapes" were just hitting the internet & I said she must be really upset about all of this. He says to me - she has a show coming on TV - nobody really knows who she is yet & coming from a high profile family she knows the value of media attention & suggested it was not a mistake that it all happened the way it did. The rest is history. Even she recently commented that she couldn't belive that certain promotors were willing to pay her 200k for an appearance. With all this said - it's a window into a story beforehand & although I don't really care - she has made some serious money playing off of the media & public's attention & even if she's not your cup of tea nobody is forcing it on you either. I think she's a lot smarter than people give her credit for.
vic_.
A lot of Leica Forum European intellectuals as busy looking down on the Americans, but as you see below, they are the ones ponying up the big money for glimpses of Paris.<p>http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,196395,00.html<p>Quote from above:<p><b>Paris Hilton, Capitalist Tool</b><p>You think shes dumb. Well, shes dumb like a mogul.<p>On Saturday night here in Cannes, Paris Hilton made $200,000 for an appearance at a charity function. A few weeks ago she pocketed $1 million in Vienna for a similar event, and she was flown first class to Austria, put up at the best hotel and treated like a princess.<p>What did she do for the money?<p>All I had to do was wave, like this, she says, imitating the royal palm turn.<p><i>End of quoted material</i><p><p>The real deal:<p>http://www.spiegel.de/img/0,1020,171294,00.jpg
