Sanford
When I print on my Epson R800 using Photoshop CS the prints match exactly to the monitor. The same print using CS2 looks oversaturated and the green grass is nearly black. Any suggestions on what is going on?

wildwoodgallery
Try looking at proof setup and select your printer. Rick
jmichaelc
"Edit" > "Covert to profile" > then select your printer's profile from the menu.
Sanford
I converted the profile to R800 but grass still looks nearly black and reds far to dark/oversaturated.
ellis_vener_photography
Without more details My suggestions are that you need to do the following things: a.) learn how to use profiles b.) get a better profile for your printer/paper combination b.) learn how to do soft proofing I'm finding that a really good guide to getting the most out of PsCS2 is "Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Photographers" by Martin Evening. For me it paid for itself by the end of the first day. There are other really good PsCS2 guides but I haven't read them. Many people find Scott Kelby's books really helpful. byronlawrence
have you set up cs2 to match the settings of cs? have you used the exact same print flow as you used in cs?
Spearhead
<i>have you set up cs2 to match the settings of cs?</i><p> A bit off-topic, but this is one of those really frustrating things about Adobe. I can't think of any other software that doesn't pick up existing preferences when doing an upgrade. I used CS2 for a week without realizing that it wasn't doing any edit logging, which is critical to my workflow because of the way I index. The same thing with actions, etc. Why should I have to save and move all my actions? Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
bob_hollifield
If this isn't appropriate I apologize...anyone upgraded to CS2 and have their CS for sale? Contact me by email if so...tks..bob
patricks
I got the same problem w/ the same hardware/software. I tried calibrating my display via Abobe Gamma in the Control Panel. No luck. I did the edit > convert to profile and match both source and destination to Adobe RGB (1998). Still no luck. Now what?
