david_schilling___chicago_
Alana, What I did was to slightly desaturate her skin color and I added PS makeup by way of the healing brush and the clone tool (set to an opacity level of 12%). I tried to eliminate most of the freckles in the face area (just enuff to simulate a good air-brush makeup technique), healed the area just to the left of her nose completely and then selectively de-emhasisized the freckles accross her arms and chest. A little burning around the edges and that's about it. Here's one more version with just a hint of cross-processing effect and a little more skin-fix with heavier burning to upper right edges.<div></div>

StuartMoxham
I get the X processed look by adjusting the curves in PS. I generaly just push them around until they look how I want them. I used neat image to smooth the image out.
jaimie blue
I like Schilling's version because he took out the light and left the details in the background, which I do not think was "destracting" or "cluttered." I also love Stuart's X.

KenPapai
Alan, BEAUTIFUL orginal photo. Here's what I would do: Levels -- adjust Green and Blue to "conformity" (after) masking out the background shining light (RED channel already fine). Lose some of the couch. Fade out slightly some of the highlights. And a few minor freckles remove. Added a border and voila!<div></div>
david_schilling___chicago_
Alana, Here's one more with a hint of pastel from nik Color Efex Pro....I also added your signature to the shot :-) I was trying to go wild in my imagination with this shot but I actually am quite fond of it and didn't want to "over do" the PS with "stuff".........I guess that this is about as wild as I get for the moment.<div></div>

sprouty
Lots of good stuff here, really. I have some fav's. Melanie's - Soft, but it just seems to glow. Marc's - Funny and campy. Stuart's - Yeah! way cool. Tim's - the best B&W (to my eyes, anyway)
