I have a Hasselblad Distagon 60mm lens begging to be used. Will it fit, via adapter, to my Pentax 645 without a problem? I understand that other Hasselblad lenses can be adapated, but was just concerned about the 60mm. Are there any issues I should be concerned about? I'm assuming I'll lose functionality for metering, but are there any other problems that I could find? Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations. bsotiras Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 Hasselblad to smaller format cameras will fit via adapter. You will have to meter stopped down. However you should be able to use TTL AE modes. There is nice adapter wher eyou get 20mm of shift. I was tempted to buy a 645 for that one reason, but I bought a 4x5 field camera instead. Im not sure If Ive made the right decsion LF gear is large. Read the section in your pentax manual that explains "attaching Pentax 67 lens to your 645" Check out http://www.zoerk.com for adapters, Im sure there are other who make some also. However, I have a herd of Pentax lenses, and just the one stray Hasselblad 60mm hanging around. So, I just wanted to be sure I could use it with the Pentax. jeff_drew4 Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 I have both for now. I looked into using the inexpensive adapters with a P645. The lens and body may fit perfectly, but functionality may be a compromise. How does it handle the shutter coordination issue? After all, both the lens AND the body have functional shutters. The lens-shutter has to stay open when focussing, right? The magnification and FOV are based on 60mm. Essentially the 60mm Distagon bayonet mount is the same as all the other Hassy V-series lenses.
