boris_chan1 Posted May 28, 2004 Share Posted May 28, 2004 An intriguing byproduct of Iran's volatile recent history was the rise to prominence of a group of photographers who covered the revolution and it's aftermath. Reza, his younger brother Manoocher, Alfred, and Kaveh Golestan all went on to successful international careers. Kaveh, one of the photographers listed on kargah.com, sadly was killed in northern Iraq last year, but the Golestan Award for emerging Iranian photographers has been established in his memory.
