Spearhead
I was in NYC this week, shot with grant a couple times. There's a small gallery here. Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal

rod g.
Very nice, very evocative and very New York. You have a good eye for interesting pictures and beautiful women!
ray .
I was there too... In fact I'm still here one more day. Drew Lee, Beau, me, and Ed Levickis thought Grant might call back but he didn't. Maybe next time. Ah well, we all got some good shooting in anyway.
wingell
Very nice work, Jeff. Love "Shoes" and "Legs" in the color, "Blues" and "Two Women" in b&w. What were you shooting with? Cheers, Bill

john_sidlo
Ice Cream is a favorite - love the colors and tones and oof bg. Basketball player is a little too bright to me, and a little too straight on - has some interest. Colored Hair - nice hair and comp - would have liked some more face. Subway Performer - a little too centered for me. East side - good apposition, headless and head. 14th st. - nice and close, nice framing. Man and sign - placement is provocative...decent expression. Noodles doesn't do much for me. Downtown red legs - good placement and minimalism...dunno... Red shoes is just right. Tan shoes - I need a skosh more to make me happier, but nice foil to red shoes. Sneer - a little to cut off for me. Video Taper - ok - more faces would make me happier Really like hair salon window washer - very nice colors. Red Spider, blues, long hair all ok, but laughing does a lot more for me. That one's really good. Woman with Hat, Magazine Stand, Chicken Marsala are ok, but Man With Dreadlocks has more engagement, interest. I like the look. The rest are fine but not as good as some of the others. patricks
so I guess I'm the only one who has "Window display" as a favorite.

Uhooru
Your typical good stuff, particularly like the huge ad murals.
tom h.
Fine work here, I particularly enjoy the abstract/motif aspect of some (IMHO one of your strengths) with "tan shoes" being my favorite."red legs", "man with sign","magazine shop","window display" are others with a lot going on. Of the people pictures, I think "Rosie" is the strongest, with an unexpected poignancy.
