bds1
Any shows I should go see? I'll have a couple of hours free B
xavier_dalfort
Well, as the airports are about 1 hour from the city center, I'm not sure it is worth going there. Plus the Fact that French loves surprise stikes at that time, going to the city raises your chance of getting stuck in the middle of a sub-developped, agressive, irresponsible country. FWIW... jeffpolaski
I'm leaving for Paris tonight :-) The Musee d'Orsay has what looks to be a great turn-of-the-century photography exhibit. You'll need more than two hours free if you are going into the city from Charles DeGaulle. In regard to the French, I plan to try to drink as much of their wine as possible, leaving them with very little left. That'll show them!

patricks
Do pay a visit to the new Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation http://www.henricartierbresson.org/index_en.htm I haven't been there myself, but I plan to visit next time in Paris (whenever that will be). Otherwise, skip the shows and walk around and take photos instead!

SolaresLarrave
If I were you, I'd head to the Grand Pallais, I'd walk down Les Tuilleries, I'd take in the Hotel de Ville, Boul Mich and the Ile de St. Louis. Long time ago, before being bitten by the photo bug, I spent two summers in Paris. Boy, the shots I could have taken in my own neighborhood! Sure, skip lunch and feel like a new Doisneau! Did he use a Leica like good ole Henri?
