john_amiet2
Kamol, You will learn very little, or nothing, about this, or any other lenses from posted pictures. What you will learn is about the skill of the photograper that took the picture. I am assuming you already own this lens, so the best way to learn is go use it and post YOUR pics here. You will get plenty of feedback. Remeber the camera and the lens are only tools. YOU are the craftsman the makes the picture. Good luck
Alex_Es
Basically I'm with John. But, I must admit, this thread is fun. There are a few things you can learn about this lens from our pictures. One thing is that it is about as optically perfect as you can get. Notice the absense of flares and ghosts from Travis's and my shots. If you look at my photo closely you'll notice where the white of the "Pizza of Death" T-shirt crosses the white of the young lady's blouse. The two whites do not flare into each other. There are tonal gradations of white. This is one moment when you know you are getting your money's worth. Kamol may have started something that could be a lot of fun. And hey, Kamol, you heard what John said. Post a few examples of your work with the 35/2 ASPH. I second the motion!

travis1
This lens has absolutely no Leica character. But it's easy to focus, light, and sharp. It's very clinical IMO i.e Nikon-like to some extend.

Alex_Es
Travis used exactly the right word for the 35/2 ASPH. Clinical. What you see is what you get. No glow. But what a dependable lens. The white on white in my photo is from a straight machine print. And it survived my scanner and cyberspace.

furcafe
Thanks, a. That was actually 1 of my 1st Leica pictures. I've since sold that lens, however, in favor of the 35/1.4 ASPH. ------- "sweet pic Christopher. -- a kochanowski , August 01, 2003; 10:59 A.M. Spearhead
I sold mine after about six months. I found I much preferred the lens on the Hexar AF, and didn't need another 35mm. This is my favorite of the photos I took with mine.

Smoke, Copyright 2000 Jeff Spirer
Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal

roberto_watson_garc_a
Great pice of document that portafolio Ivan, very pleased to see, just wish I could see them in a larger size. So you were using three lenses, why the two 35´s?
