How to repair defective aperture on Minox 35 MB?

I have a Minox 35 MB that worked just fine for years, but now the

aperture is locked to 8. I can't turn the aperture ring, seems like a

mechanical problem in the lens. Anone experienced this before and

tried to repair? I don't want to send it away for service beacause I

only use it as a backup camera for my digital equipment.

Have you solved your problem with the stuck aperture? Anyhow, I've experience a similar problem on a 35 ML. I took off the aperture ring (three very small screws on the outer perifiery. Be careful and note the position of the ring when lifting it off the lens). Under the ring there are some screws holding the lensmount. One of them hade unscrewed itself and blocked the aperture ring (why don't Minox use screwlock?)
