<p>I agree with previous posters and suggest that you start with the sigma 17-50/2.8. The 35/1.8 is probably redundant at this point. Your money would be better spent on a decent flash & tripod as others have suggested. When I first started, all I had was the sigma. Even after I added 3 more lenses (tokina 11-16, tokina 100/2.8, nikon 55-200), the sigma is still on 80% of the time.</p>
