<p>Chiming in with somewhat useless knowledge of the kind that that rattles around in my brain: It's a millipede because there are two legs per body segment, as opposed to one leg per body segment in centipedes. I've never seen millipedes in the wild, however I've found them lurking in dark corners in every garage of every house I ever owned...</p>
