  1. Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out what this error code means. I'm getting it when I hit the shutter button on a Mamiya AFD with film back. Can anyone help me with this? the manual contains no useful information beside stating the obvious fact that it is an error. thank you!
  2. Hello everyone, I have this strange problem with my Fuji GA645. It always worked well but on the last roll it started acting weirdly, I wonder if someone here have an idea of this problem before I take it to the repair shop. The problem is that the shutter only opens at specific focusing distances, both with manual and automatic focus. If I'm focusing a 1mt or less it works, more than that and the shutter doesn't opens. I can click the shutter button and something happens (clicking sounds) but the shutter doesn't open and the film doesn't advance. Thanks Federico
  3. <p>thank you for the replies, and peter for sharing all those useful informations.<br> I got the idea that flatbeds are inferior in scanning 35mm on forum like this one, if you google "epson v700" and "35mm" you will find many people stating this thing.<br> Also I just discovered the filmscanner.info website, it features many scanner tests and reviews<br /><a href="http://www.filmscanner.info/en/EpsonPerfectionV700Photo.html">http://www.filmscanner.info/en/EpsonPerfectionV700Photo.html</a><br> and also has a comparison between many scanners (only in german but I was able to understand something google translating the page)<br /><a href="http://www.filmscanner.info/FilmscannerRangliste.html">http://www.filmscanner.info/FilmscannerRangliste.html</a><br> it looks like the best scanner for me would be the Braun FS-120 but it costs almost 2000$ and its too much :(</p> <p> </p>
  4. <p>Hello, I have a v700 and I use it to scan all my negatives, I shoot both 35mm and 120.<br />Recently I'm shooting a lot of 35mm, and since I know that flatbeds are not that good with 35mm negs, I'm wondering what can I do to have better files. Searching online I've seen some 35mm dedicated scanners costing less than 500$, but are they better than my v700? Is it worth to have both?<br> thanks a lot!</p>
  5. <p>thank you very much, I will bring them back to the lab. I hope they can be fixed.</p>
  6. <p>I just got some developed rolls (120 and 135) from the lab. But there's an incredible amount of dust. I've never seen anything like this.<br> Can I wash the negatives to clean them?<br> thanks!<br> Federico<br /><br /><br /><img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5739/22951157282_2bf5ee36da_o.png" alt="" width="1231" height="708" /></p> <p> </p>
