  1. <p>Thanks for the responses. Much appreciated.<br> Just to add the residue looks like little crystals. Is this down to insufficient stabilizing?</p>
  2. <p>I got my negatives back from Jessops, a British photo shop and they've got white residue all over them (almost looks like small crystals) and machine marks.<br> <br />Does anyone have any idea what this is? I've tried meths on a few dead frames and it doesn't remove it, but you can scratch it off, it's on the outside of the film. The prints came out perfectly coloured and exposed but very grainy and unclear because of the residue.</p> <p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/Photo-UK/IMG_7264_zps01335107.jpg" alt="" width="800" height="533" /></p>
