Lovely indeed. Those snow flakes shown in variousr density give rhythm to the winter scene. I hope you have tried more on the subject. A view out of a window pane or something would be great. I live in Taiwan--the only chance to see snowfall is climbing over 3000 meter high in winter!

The image looks blurred. Is it the scanner?

Otherwise the composition is nice. The misty background looks mysterious.

This is a great shot. The wide & low angle , the background/foreground subjects, the light & shadow, all contribute to the rich image.

The perspective renders well the geomertic skylines & railway curves. The subtle color is also pleasing. The foreground subject on the left is a bit distracting for me, though.

I like the "layers" of colours in the background, which remind me of some nice watercolour paintings.

The sail boat does add life to the photo. :)

Thanks for the comment, Joe. I did a bit cropping but no burning, mostly on the left edge.

 

As you have noticed, the pic is so dark on both sides. This is probably caused by shooting at 28mm. Some other pics at the wide angle from my Minolta Riva suffer from this problem, too. By the way, the weather was getting harsh--dark, rainy, windy. I was actually struggling against the strong wind.
