this picture was originally shot with a velvia color slide film. i
converted it with photoshop to infrared black&white and added the
black frame around. you can find the original colored photo in my
gallery.

Look at these happy faces? I knew from the day before I took this
picture that I just have to ask two or three girls or boys to take a
picture and that I will have kids around me within the next five
seconds! I mounted the flash and my 17-35mm. The boy in the
foreground almost touched my lens. As you can see, the others had to
hold him back. Even he is out of focus I like the picture. What do
you think?

It's exactly the picture i took. i didn't make any changes with photoshop

rich,
thx for your comment on my rollerblading pic. use a slow time (like 1/30, 1/40) and rear curtain sync. follow the subject while not pushing the release. while moving push the release (keep moving). rear curtain sync flash should make the object sharp. hope it helped!

I like it but i'm sure there are things to improve
Old women at the funeral. I was invited to a funeral when travelling through vietnam. This gave me a great chance to take portrait shots of people (actually I've been asked by the locals if I could take pictures!)

What do you think? B&W or color? Personally, I like B&W better....
