I wanted to get the street and the buildings and the open air
market. I was wondering if I should have waited for more people or
shown more the the pedestrian walk? The actuall market and area were
packed with people for the most part, except when I took the photo.

I was trying to capture movement on the pad with a digital camera
rather than a video camera. I was wondering if it was effective and
what I could do to get even better results. (Besides a tripod, as
the camera's tripod mounting bolt is broken)

I was trying to capture the red glow of the heating element as well
as the rest of the machine, so i set a 4 second exposure with a
flash. I am not happy with the glow, though atleast I captured some.
Any ideas of how i can capture the glow and the machine better?

Actually they are my footprints, so out of... however, I was headed to a darker region; it's just i hadn't walked there yet so no footprints were headed in that direction, so i had to photograph those.

I want to convey that the person is heading away from the camera and
into the unknown. Does this work, or should i show the person in the
photo?

Thats a mighty pretty photograph

I didnt know cameras could do this...

How is it that the only part of the photo that is in focus is the
water on the right of the photo? i would at the very least expect
that nearby concrete structures would also be in focus. Even though
most of the picture is out of focus, i still cant help staring at
it... sortof like when you drive by a horrible accident and cant help
but sneak a peak.(i do at any rate)

I was dubious about the suns location in this photo, as well as how
much light to allow into the picture. As a result i have approximatly
5 photos of this scene, with varying light, sun locations, etc, and
was wondering which is the best, and whether it is better to take a
photo of this scene and have detail in the buildings/boats or just
their silhouettes.

Im redoing this photo tonight with a good backdrop...

What is the name of the technique im using(long exposure of a light
source(s))? Am i using it effectivly? Does it appear that i burned my
finger :-) [cause i did, hence the long streak of me jerking the
match back]?

Any comments, ratings, etc, would be appreciated. I took this for
fun, but it turned out pretty well, in my opinion.

Bottle of tequila. Considering continuing the series with different
kinds of beverages/glasses/settings.

Im just looking for comments on the subject...not the background. I
know it was horrible but i had no choice unfortunantly.
