Please rate and comment. Any suggestions for improvements?
Thanks,

This was one of a series of shots I took when I noticed a few ducks
walking around on a grassy patch near a lake. The setting sun
provided good light and the long shadows helped define the image.
Please add your comments and ratings.
Thanks in advance...
Vishal.

Wow! excellent idea and execution. I like everything about this image - the framing, the exposure (lots of shadow detail, lots of highlight detail), the texture, and above all, the idea.

for the comments. I wish the deer was looking our way, too, but he only stood in this position for a moment and then moved on.

Very nice! The lightbulb at the top center really makes the picture. Couple of points - you might want to consider a frame other than black, the bottom part of the image tends to blend in. And can you include more of the dude on the left, who is currently partially cut off?
Great colors - really like the multi-tiered, cascading effect! It really pops out when you look at the "large version".

Very original! Wonder why the ratings are low on this one!

Excellent detail and colors! My only comment would be to include the small part on the left that has gotten cropped out if you can...
Great capture.

This is an excellent shot! quite a masterpiece.
My only comment, if any, would be that there is a tad too much space on the right. I have not read all the comments that this picture has recieved, so I may be repeating this - would it be possible to shift your position a little to the left so that there is slightly more separation between the two stumps popping out of the water? I am assuming the shorter stump is nearer the photographer than the other one.
But that is just a quibble. Incredible picture.
Cheers,
Vishal.

Excellent, as always. Good use of lines and color. Great off-center placement of the table and chairs. It takes a great eye to get something as remarkable as this on a hot sunny afternoon!

Let me add to the chorus of praise. One of the best uses of BW I have seen. Brilliant.

Wow! Astounding.

Any comments or suggestions? It caught my eye, as this is not a
typical color for a sunflower. It turns out that the stores use some
sort of red dye in the water in which they store the flower to get
this color.
Thanks,
Vishal.

Great light and a wonderful capture. I have not seen a better picture of the lava flows.

You are right, the image was too tightly cropped. I have changed the crop, hope that improves the image.

A great moment, well caught! The perfect colors and framing. I really like the intersecting dark shapes. Keep shooting!

Unique image! Really like the composition.

Nice image of an often photographed subject! I don't like the grey portion of the frame, though - it clashes with the clouds at the top...
Cheers,
Vishal.

Any comments or suggestions? Does this crop of the image work?
