Hmmm, the ghostly ontline of the buildings showed up when I convert the tif file to jpg.

I think the contrast is a little low to many people. But the falling snow, which is the effect I was trying to capture, would become less visible if I increase the contrast. Any suggestions for improving the shot will be very much appriciated. -
I think it will be better if the banded-white piece was not there. -
The original slide is not as bright, I think I messed it up with PhotoShot. I have learn some new tricks in PhotoShop lately. I will try to reprocess the scan so that it look as close to the origina as possible.

I'm glad you like this picture. This shot is taken right infornt of Boat Quay, down town Singapore. The original slide is really sharp but I was now very good with Photoshop when I sacnned the slide. I'll try to rescan and reprocess it.

Ski is a little over exposed. A Gradual filter might have help. Good texture on the fog.

I don't remember exactly what f-stop and shutter speed I used. I hand held the camera because the exposure time is quite shot. I think f4, 1/30 sec was what I used. Thank you for your comment.
