When you said you found him in your kitchen and then let him go, what did you do with him to keep him still? Also, what did you use for the white background, and the black background in the other pic of this fly?

The orange colour in the starfish accentuates the orange sky. I bet you were well happy to find this on a beach at sunset. Nice. -

Good colours... conveys mood well. I would have positioned the birds with a slightly stronger silhouette & reflection if at all that was possible at the moment. I like the picture... it reaches out!
