AND the "recent comments" field is empty even though there is one comment, no matter which browser. I have to click on the "View Comments" button, lower right, to see comments.

I can see the "recent comments" to the right of the photo for everyone's photos except my own!

Another bizarre issue. This time when I changed to Microsoft Edge browser the "sad face" fields disappeared. Is there a recommended browser for this site?

Why all he sad faces in certain fields. I just uploaded a photo, you can't comment because the comment field is corrupted.

AND I have 2 blank photos in my public profile and my own photos page. Clearly something has happened to corrupt the database - sure wish it could be fixed.

Just to add more info, it shows up on my public profile as a gallery called “Photos”. It has no photos in it. When I click on it, it’s empty.

For reasons unknown, I have an empty gallery that shows up on my gallery page.

 

I tried to delete it -doesn't work. I tried to change it's name - doesn't work. I tried to add a picture to it - I get a 404 page not found error.

 

If I start with an uploaded photo, and try to put it in a gallery the "Empty Gallery" does not show up as a choice.

 

Any way to get rid of it??

Four WEEKS after creating my account, and after diving up and trying yesterday to see if I could delete it, this morning my pending account was finally approved and all my photos are public. Go figure!

Sandy, thanks for the reply. If this is just normal because the site is volunteer run, then I can live with it. I just couldn’t figure it out. Do you know why the contact@photo.net bounces?

My week old account is still "pending approval" and I cannot make any of my photos public. There is a "contact support" link that brings up a blank page on my computer but brings up a fillable contact form on my iPad that I filled out but got no response.

 

On my IPad you can contact them directly at "contact@photo.net" I have tried 3 times on different days and get

"Your message wasn't delivered to contact@photo.net because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail."

 

What is going on? Is this a site run solely by a computer? I don't want to commit to putting all my portfolios here because if something goes wrong, I seem to have no recourse.

 

It's a shame really, because I like how this site is organized and the balance between good photographs and a good community. I especially like that you can ask for and give feedback.

 

Before I give up, can anyone help?

I'm having the same problem Created an account a week ago, all my photos except one are private and can't be made public and I'm still awaiting approval. patience is a virtue I guess
