Is this model with OPTON TESSAR rare? I have checked E-BAY for weeks and have found only five, one with OPTON TESSAR.

I bought this camera without a clear photo of the lens in the EBAY listing. Much to my surprise it has a 1:3,5 75cm RODENSTOCK TRINAR. The serial number of the lens 201529 indicates a manufacture date 1945. From research I've found it may be quite rare. Does anyone know how many may have been produced?
-
Thank you. I was a bit confused thanks for clearing it up.

I recently purchased this camera and the film spools are for 620 film yet all information that I have found says 120 film. Were the two interchangeable for this camera? The lens serial number 1496679 would indicate 1933 or 1934 date of manufacture. I can't find a body serial number.

Does anyone know where to find a replacement leatherette cover for this? I have checked HUGO STUDIO and ASAHI websites but b=no luck there.

My lens has tiny opaque pinpoint dots throughout apparently between elements. They are not spider web like so it appears it may not be fungus. Does anyone have an idea what it might be?

I have bought a 524/16 MESS IKONTA. It has a 75MM 3.5 OPTON TESSAR SYNCHRO-COMPUR shutter. I have read that with this lens and shutter it is fairly rare however I have not found information via the internet aside from that such as production numbers. Can someone please offer an opinion as to rarity?

Moving the cocking lever back should trip the shutter. Unfortunately the little add-on shutter button is quite rare and sought after.
Thank you!

I need a shutter button for a ROLLEICORDIII. Not the entire mechanism just the button that screws into the opening. The camera works with a cable release.

Does anyone know of a film lab that uses the traditional dip & dunk film processing?

The rangefinder was working. It was not forced it moved freely suddenly does not bring images together. Can someone suggest a reputable medium format repair shop?

Thank you for the prompt reply and good advice.

I have two AUTOMATS and would like to swap lenses. One has a TESSAR T the other does not. Would I need to swap all elements or only the front element?
-
Sorry but I fail to understand what is terse about a simple question. Further I am referring to two different cameras,. The somewhat assumptive replies by some members lead me to believe that there is a certain element of know it all elitism by some members which I neither welcome nor appreciate, therefore this will be my final post on this forum.

I have no idea what members are reading or reading into my posts. I have not removed the lens assembly only the front elements for cleaning. NO I am not inside the camera body and NO I will not attempt a repair. Is this clear enough?
-
Yet, you mentioned in a previous post that you had removed the lens assembly from the camera?Does the camera have a separate remote cable socket? It may be worth trying that. Also could the self timer be stuck half way?
John the self timer travels it's distance. I hear a click but the but the shutter does not open and close
It sounds like your camera has multiple issues, all the more reason to have it professionally serviced. I'd try one of the technicians recommended above.[/QU

I would not attempt an amateur effort to fix a Rolleiflex, even if you had a service manual. I'm not sure which model Rolleiflex you have, but ask Oceanside Camera Repair, Manhattan Beach, California (AKA Harry Fleenor) if they service your model. Oceanside repaired my 2.8C.
I will not attempt a repair that is why I am asking for qualified U.S. based technicians.
-
If I understand correctly from your previous posts, you are already inside the camera? You may want to disclose that to the tech when you start a dialogue, as some repair specialists will refuse to work on cameras that arrive disassembled etc.
Also, no qualified Rollei techs works cheaply, so make sure that the camera in question is worth the cost.
Here's a list of techs:
No I have not opened the camera as I do not have the expertise to attempt a repair.

The Learn Camera Repair site has a PDF of the service manual available:

Dave. Thank you for the reference. Would that I were qualified to do a repair. I would appreciate a reference to a qualified U.S. repair person.

Broken. Needs fixed.
BRILLIANT! I obviously know that.
