  1. Ok so the quick version, long-time photographer but beginning wedding photographer, starting out with off-camera speedlites. I have, currently, 2 600EX-II RT flashes (actual Canon, yes) powered by Godox PB960 LiIon rechargeable packs, along with the Canon ST-E3-RT radio transmitter, and a Promaster FL190 with a Phottix Laso RX (just a cheapie backup / 3rd "effects" light I can gel or whatever). I understand I'm not at "Profotto" level, just starting out ya know. Profotto=few years on. Anyway, I've been considering if perhaps the Phottix Laso TRANSITTER is better than the ST-E3-RT, for controlling all 3 of my speedlites, primarily for the AF assist beam (80D low-light focus = meh, even on good glass), but for other features as well. I was curious if other shooters out there had experience with both the ST-E3-RT and Phottix Laso, and what your preferences were in what situations and why? Does one rule over all? Should I avoid one or the other at all costs? As I said, when it comes to this "area" of photography, I'm a new guy with a pair of speedlites. So I welcome your input. Thanks, guys!
