Here is an OM-4 manual:
http://www.cameramanuals.org/olympus_pdf/olympus_om-4_ti.pdf
See pages 40+
If you find this manual helpful, please send a $3 donation to the manual supplier. I'm not affiliated, but I've gotten several manuals from him and paid $3 each.
Regards
Thanks allot, I didn't know this existed

Hi Lucas,
The manual is pretty poor on this so I grabbed my OM-4 and tried it. Mine seems to act like yours does, it saves spot meter readings in auto mode but in manual mode the memory function doesn't work. I'd guess then that this is normal!
Super nice cameras, enjoy!
Weird, it seems like that should be a feature but it's not. I guess if I'm in a portrait setting with consistent lighting I'll just spot meter in auto then

Tokina 80-200 f/2.8 mount change
in Classic Manual Film Cameras
Posted
I use olympus film cameras allot and was looking for a constant aperture fast telephoto lens and I finnaly found it! The only thing is is that this lens is very rare in the olympus OM mount and very hard to find, so I was wondering if there was any way to change the lens mount from an existing lens to a OM mount
Edit: I am referring to the old manual focus version
