  1. It may not be the scanner but check for flickering LED anyway ...

    You are getting a data size at the bottom which means the scanner scanned the image, so it might be software trouble

     

    Scanner status is indicated as follows:

    Status LED

     

    LED Blinks

    Scanner busy.

     

    LED Flickers

    1.5 ×/second)

    error. Turn scanner off, wait

    about for at least 5 s, and turn scanner on again

  2. My Nikon LS 9000 scanner stopped displaying image on preview or image on the desktop when button pushed. The mechanics all work, the sounds of scanning are the same just no image. The data of size and mg is displayed on the bottom as usual. Is there a bulb in there that may have burnt out, I recall seeing a white light when scanning now I see a green light scanning.
