I like it, but I think the thumbnail doesn't give enough info for people to know what the subject is due to the darkness and lack of detail caused by the darkness. It's abstract enough, though. Just a little more light on the boots to make them stand out more might have helped. I could never walk in them...

This is one of those wonderful situations where you just don't know how to capture it. But, you just can't pass it up either. I would have tried this exact framing. I would have also done a landscape version to try to get a different feel. Thumbs up for stopping and shooting!
