  1. I am going to Vermont for shooting fall colors. Need advice from

    experienced persons on the following:

    1. What lenses should I take with me. I have 20/2.8, 50/1.8, 24-

120/3.5-4.5 and a 70-300/4.5-5.6. Not the best zoom lenses I agree,

but I am learning. With tripod, Mirror lock-up and remote cord

release I was able to take quite a few decent pictures.

    2. How do I meter for better contrast. In high contrast situation

most of the time my pictures are either over or underexposed. I have

been reading about Zone system which seems to address the issue. Zone

system recommends the use of 1 degree spotmeter. Does N90s provide 1

degree spotmetering - if so I would get an N90s as a second body. I

use an F3HP by the way.

    3. What time of the day is best for catching color contrast - or does

    it not matter?

    4. Will polarizing filter or warming filter enhance the color.

    5. I prefer Fuji Velvia - any other recommendation?

    Thanks for the advice.

  2. Does anyone know about 75-300/4.5-5.6 and 70-300/4.5-5.6 lens? Does any of the lenses has macro capability? There performance at the long and short end etc.

I have looked into nikon website and I want to know from people who have either used any or both of the lenses. Also, I know the difference of micro/macro in Nikon/Canon world.

    Thanks in advance to respondents.
