I like this picture. Composition, colours and blur. If it hadn't been for the burnt out highlights of the seagull (?) It would have been a real winner.

As far as the composition goes, I like this shot. The lines in the sand for an example.
However, the overall picture quality just doesn't cut it IMHO. The grain is horrible and it lacks in sharpness.
I only wish you would have invested in some high quality slide film and this one could have been a really great shot.

By the way, why do you need the diffuser?

With that kind of long exposure you need a tripod. There's no way you (or anyone else) can hand hold a 1 or 2 second exposure.
Basically, the contrasts are a bit too high. You just cannot expect film to record both the fairly dark road and buildings (they are not sufficiently illuminated) as well as the relatively bright streetlights wihtout either the objects ending up to dark or the highlights blowing out (overexposure to white or bright colour).

Personally, I just love these colours and the way the woods disappear
in the haze.
My only fear is that it might be too empty. OTOH, that's like the
point, that the gaze should walk out over the scenery towards the
hills at infinity...
Any comments?

Good sharpness and colours but the composition is lacking a bit.
First I'd say that you should have avoided that shadowy thing pointing in from the right. Also, possibly It'd been better had the horizon been lower making more of the, ehh rock, free from the mountains.
