  1. 30,000 photos per month. That is about 1000 per day. You can be first on the 56K line to click on the page with 1000 jpeg thumbnails, then go through 1000 jpeg thumbnails deleting the ones you dont like. This is interesting with perhaps 10 or 50 photos a day, but there is no way to do this here and now.
  2. Perhaps (Brian?) we could make the first choice of category for EOS

forum something other than announcements, EOS bodies perhaps. Nearly

every new post is getting thrown into announcements, presumably

because people aren't bothering or are forgetting to switch it. I

think categorization is a good idea, and this would help just in case

people forget. Which seems to be happening a lot.

  3. OK, I know nothing AT ALL about electronics: all you need is a regular

headphone cord and a little adapter that makes the head phone cord

plug into your camera.(both at electronics/hobby stores) Cut the end

off the cord however far away you want your remote to be, and strip

the insulation off and there will be three tiny bundles of wires. At

this point, you could follow the crafty instructions on how to build a

whole little remote control box...or you could just touch the wires

together. If i remember, connecting all three wires releases the

shutter, toucing a certain two of them does auto focus, and another

pairing of two does nothing. Experiment with no film in the camera,

then mark them. And you will look so hardcore using raw wires.

  4. Has anyone put the 70-200 f/4L on the very lightweight bodies? Specifically, I have a EOS 300. Obviously it will be very front-heavy but I am considering buying the lens. Does anyone find the off-balance weight to detract too much from handling? The answer to the glaring question is I don't want to spend the money for an EOS 3 or 1 series right now and the features of the 30 don't make it worth the step up.
  5. to address one of your questions:

    <p>

with the "SAME LENS, SAME EXPOSURE SETTINGS (aperture and shutter speed

values) and SAME SCENE in SAME LIGHTING CONDITIONS and SAME FILM"

these cameras will yield exactly the same image. The difference in

bodies is features and noise and speed and convenience.
