I'm interested in improving my technique in Lightroom. Is there
anything I could have done to make this photo better?

Good photo and a nice composition. But the contrast is too strong and it obscures the details in the houses on the left. Also, the blue-colored patch in the lake created with a post processing software looks a bit artificial.
