This statue was off to the side of a Buddhist temple popular with
pilgrims. I was struck by how he seemed to be standing in the trees
watching the people below.
Questions:
1) Is this too simple of a shot? Does it seem to flat?
2) Cropping: I debated between this (uncropped) and a version without
the pedestal.
3) Do you find the wide swaths of out-of-field leaves distracting?

I love the colors. I think I would maybe like to see a little more of the side spans (especially the foreground one) and maybe more of the foreground water (ie place the bridge higher in the composition). But it is beautiful as is.
