<p>I can't compare the two but have an XT-1. With the firmware update it is silent and the shutter can go to as fast as 1/32000sec. I also like that the controls are much like my old film camera, so it feels like I'm coming home when I use it. It's a great size so I can fit it in a relatively small bag and people don't see me as a 'pro'.<br>
The flip out screen is also great so that you can shoot from the hip. I do agree with the above about battery life not being so great, but all fujis seem to be the same on that point, so have a few with you (and don't trust the battery level).</p>
