The lighting here is very effective at bringing out the "whiskers". Good work. How did you do it?

This photo was taken at Cape Spear in Newfoundland, Canada. It is the
easternmost point in North America. The ocean is always angry here.
Is this picture effective at conveying this feeling? Any technical
comments?
Thanks.

This might benefit from cropping off just enough from the left edge to hide that first step. As it is the step detracts from the repetitiveness of the pattern around the door, that makes this scene so interesting.

If the web was in sharp focus throughout the entire picture this would be great.

By itself, this photo is much too confusing. Having seen another in this series, I know what that big blurry thing is, but by itself, this doesn't work for me at all.

I'd like to see more of the killdeer (actually, all of it) in focus. I like the camera angle though.

Any comments, technical or otherwise would be appreciated.
Thanks

This is a picture of 3 birch trees looking through a bunch of alder
branches (red). The intent of this when I took it was to try to capture
the colour of the alders. I think the colour seemed so impressive at
the time because it completely surrounded me. Any shots I took that
actually focussed on the alders themselves seemed to deaden this
impact. This recaptures the feeling for me, does anyone else get the
same feeling?

This is a picture of 3 bottles of maple syrup lined up next to one
another. It was taken in late morning sunlight on the deck behind my
house. No digital alterations have been made.
