    salute Luca,

why it is that the good authors around here - like you and Mr. Roberto S - did left us with zero to few photographs. doubts? creative crisis? or simply other priorities?

anyway, good one. form to content.

    "busted stuff"

    que onda good man Carlito?

this is, by far, best photograph here for a long long time. especially BW wise. it seems to me, that we, BW/ film authors are more focused on layers and lines, their coexistence and contradiction, rather than similar/ corresponding characteristics of colour photographers.

anyway, there is all - colours, BW, lines, 3 worlds, humour, lightness and weight of world of both childs and adults.

you never know/ dave matthews band

    thank you very much Sire

  1. by the look at your sony camera, it has one great advantage - the tiltable lcd display - allowing photographer to take picture from almost waist/ belly level (as in good old yashica, flexaret time) hence not disturbing the“subject” of the frame. and you clearly used that to your benefit here. consequently, the old shop owner will remain a picturesque character.

too bad it’s not a film camera (-,

    cheers

  2. Hi,

I would prefer vertical composition here, captured from spot ca 2 meters closer to second street (or - contrary - directly on shop door level to have insight). but that's just me.

    p.s. nice film-like tonality

    You Rang?

just fully realized how very "Artistic" (for lack of better words mind you) this great nation is and was thrughout his History.

back to art of forging Katana's for Samurai from so many layers of steel, or they wooden homes both comfy and nature-friendly.

and also, why you choosed Nippon as your home.

I wish to meet you one day in person, have a beer, some photos on paper, disputing little things. good old times.

    Boris

    Keep Smiling

can I know please what these words (4) on that plate are saying?

btw I like how you kept that fragment of car, and wheel particulary in scene as a memento of mankind.

Jack, the composition here is done to last milimeter, same goes for "angle". kudos

    Boris
