I only know that AF will not work with the biggest aperture > f5.6 think its due to the brightness (makes sense) not sure about the metering tho. metering is also extrapolated from the biggest aperture and it usually is <f5.6 as well.. hmm can those who tried the teleconvertors with >f5.6 tell about metering with slide film? negatives dun really count i guess since its tolerant of 1 stop difference

I am from singapore and the canon guys said ettl2 works with 380ex with 350D
the ettl light lights but I can't see a preflash. So is it still ettl if there's no preflash?
am confused even after reading about the ettl and ettl2
the test exposures are fine though... but never tried the tough things like shooting into mirrors..
