Very nice

Cute subject and well taken. The airborne flakes of snow really enhance the composition and mood - thanks for posting, love it

Great candid shot Starvy and a powerful architectural scene included for good measure
-
The head-dress really makes this portrait, as well as the reflection of lighting in the eyes, but perhaps just a little more of the head-dress included at the top would make this a perfect portrait. Excellent!

Thank you Landrum. Lucky is not the easiest film to work with but it has great potential once it's secrets are unlocked

Thoughts appreciated, thanks

Attempting to bring out detail in shadows and highlights using near
exhausted developer
-
I was crouched on my knees amongst thorny bushes to take this one
Shanghai 100 ASA, Voightlander 325/41 AR pink filter. Fifth exhaustion in 500ml one-shot developer.
Development time 12 minutes @ 20°C.

An exercise in exposing for shadows for Lucky 100 film, 85c orange filter used. Eighth exhaustion in 500ml one shot Neofin Blue developer. 35 mins @ 20°C
Brought out the shadow and highlight detail nicely I thought

Fascinating is right ! for those living in temperate or tropical climates seeing images like this "floating" ice block in a faraway cold region is always of great interest. At first, I thought it was a digital alteration, how wrong. Thanks Laurent for a well exposed, well seen shot of this "stranded" ice formation

Scan from slightly faded negative - Minolta 7s
-
Scanned from an eighteen year old slightly faded negative and if my memory serves me correctly, the Minolta was set on "Auto" to take this shot, one of many taken using Auto during the course of the day at the carshow. A spot of saturation and sharpening in Mac OSX Preview "Adjust Colour" tool was all that I employed to bring this originally sharp image back to acceptable viewing. One thing I've never done is underestimate my Minolta 7s. I bought it secondhand many years ago and it's always been completely reliable, needing only a rangefinder adjustment every five years or so. Otherwise, it has sound mechanicals, robustness, versatility, good optics and faithful colour, I'm pleased to say

What do you do when a Banded Leg Huntsman parks itself on some old dusty shade cloth two nights running ? Well you take a photo of course and you don't argue about it. You don't argue with Miss Pretty Legs either, with her five inch leg span and potentially nasty bite, I wasn't about to ask her to move some place else, anywhere but on that contrasty shade cloth, for a better shot. What do you think ? pick it to pieces, not the spider, the dig alt
Miss Pretty Legs in her everyday coat here ....

I think all of your photographs are spectacular Laurent, not just this one, but all. I'm searching for inspiration and I'm finding it in your rich colourful photography, filling every frame, edge to edge, with interesting subject matter and vibrant colours that bring every one of your scenes to real life in a very profound way. Beautiful to view

On the straight and level now Alicia, good work, simple improvement made all the difference over first one - I should talk though, some of mine are not absolutely level, however I discovered recently that Photoshop adjusts in fractions of a degrees so going back to do mine

I think this image is perhaps letting us all know why you obviously love using a camera as a medium. This snow covered tree was well seen and well photographed pictorially, to my mind it has lots of merit - fantastic

My intention with this common flower picture, apart from photographing just the flower, was to introduce a little extra life into the composition by including the sky and an extra flower to make it a more interesting picture. This exposure was as you see it except for cropping and some lightening of the top half of the upper petals

Great pose, lighting sculptures the model really well IMO. Feathers add a great touch to the picture.
