I like what you have here...nice colors which give the feeling of how cool (read: Freezing) it can be near the bridge...maybe crop out the barracks building (right up to the right edge of the nearest telescope.) The whitish building doesn't distract my eye, but the warmth of the lights down there works against the overall bluish tone...but a great image well seen!

The blown out corner is distracting but the idea is cool...Lift the gamma a little...the subjects left eye fades into the gloom a little too much...but it's a kina creepy and effective image

I love the idea and the location, but let me approach this as though it were being shot for a car ad: 1)Lighting on car is uneven (car should be more fully lit...) 2)Shot from too low an angle (Put yourself on a step ladder and get some more of the scenery behind the car...which would help with...) 3)Too much empty sky (crop down to the top of the spire...)
The colors are awsome and if the car were fully bathed in the golden light, you'd really have one hell of a shot!

Love the colors of the Mustang against the lush green hillside...well seen and shot!!

Wow...You've got all the bells and whistles going here! Nice job of retaining detail in the aircraft without a totaly blown out sky...I might have PS'd out the fence of flags on the left side but other than that...great image!

Nice portraiture...

Cool geometry...maybe a little overexposed?
-
Kinda hypnotic...but your logo pulls my eye off your eye.
-
Nice gritty "slice of life" feel. That's one awfully accomodating subject.
-
The soft colors of the trees in the background are terrific...but the bush and log lead the eye out of the frame and detract from the overall feeling because they are much sharper...I'd crop them out. That would eliminate the sloping horizon line too.

The simplicity of the image makes me wonder:
Who's the visitor and who's the attraction?
Beautiful image. Volker you certainly have the blessings of the muses.

About as fine a portrait of a bird as I've ever seen...perfect!! WEll CAPTURED!!

Feel free to offer your thoughts! Thanks...

I like the green against the black...good eye!

Another dramatic sky but this one doesn't balance as well...IMO, crop this one down to just above the hill on the left and let the streak of sun lead you to the village.
-
Now here, IMO, the sky has enough drama in it to balance the entire frame...very nice!
-
The pine needles make a nice natural frame...cool image.
-
Has a painting-esque feeling to it...perhaps just a bit too much sky...but it's a great sky!

Submitted for your approval...
See "Stairway To...Two

I was drawn upward by the stairs and inward by the converging lines
of the bricks on either side...

Nice calm serene image. Maybe could be cropped to a little more horizontal format...But I love the muted colors and can almost hear the seagulls and fog horn!
-
Bring down the top edge just a little...crop out the building on the right and lose the chimmny at the bottom left BUT the placement of the top of the pole with the lines radiating out is perfect!
-
Nice texture and rhythm.

Eeeek! Great detail...great lighting.

The great golfer Bobby Jones, when asked about the prowess of (then) young Jack Nicklaus, replied "He plays a game with which I am not familiar."
Well I can say without fear of contradiction: "Tony knows uses for a camera with which I am not familiar..."
Congratulation Tony, your photo is utterly deserving.
