Trying to keep it simple: one colour, one repetitive subject.

Cloudy day, early morning, sea ad clouds merging seamlessly in
monochrome shades. A kind o photo of nothing. Maybe it works only
for myself?
-
Although simply due to an obvious error (didn't expect such long exposure
from P setting...) I suspect it works?

Trying to exploit warm tones in snow reflections. Does it work?

I like the artificial look that night lights shed over the different buildings in
Florence historical center (standard warm street lights everywhere, colder
lights on Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral). It reminds me of a theatre
scenography, and I tried to emphasize this feeling with a telephoto
perspective. Does it work?

In the middle of nothing, only one man and his opposite (his reflection). Inspiring and intriguing...

Great. I love the parallel and smooth transition from the more saturated/more detailed/more crowded/darker front hills and the softer/less textured/lighter/lonely far ones. And the light is superb.

Dear Radu, thannks for your comments. Yes, it's nature beauty as it has been for thousands of years, and this why I'll never get tired to wake up early, walk and shoot. But from the point of view of other photographers, this also means that millions of them have had the chance, in nearly two centuries, to capture it in a better way than me....

Clean, realistic and at the same time bit zen. I love it.

../photodb/photo?photo_id=8334454Here is the green version, just in case anyone is interested...

I already posted a color (green over green) version of this, but I found it
might also work (in a different way) in B&W. Comments welcome.

Stephen, may be this version is a better balanced one.
Thanks all for your input.

I also had the feeling that B&W was better and more natural, but I was looking for somebody else opinion . Thanks all for your opinion (and, of course, no need to be sorry if you dislike any photo of mine, Richard, critique is for that!)

Color (Lightroom boosted) version of yesterday B&W shot.
Comments welcome.

Black and white version of a dawn photo of Montasio, from Dogna
valley, trying to highlight the single forest curtains. Does it work?

Simple sky, just one color and black, and a cluttered frame from the trees. Does it
work?
