    This is a good shot as far as clarity goes, but the color of the background is throwing me off. The blue is almost the same value as the yellow. I think you could get some more contrast and make the flower "pop" more by putting in a darker background- maybe a purple to complement the yellow? I like it though.

    I feel like it could be made more interesting by either positioning the lioness a little more towards the left in the composition or by cropping to achieve the same effect. My eyes follow hers to the right see what she may be looking at, and the information on the left becomes unimportant. Great shot though- makes me jealous! I can't say that I've ever seen such wildlife up close.

    This is a good friend of mine from college. The scan is from an

    11x14 print made from Kodalith Ortho (x-ray) film. My favorite part

    is how the high contrast emphasizes the strnage look on her face.

    This is a shot of my college roommate in a playful mood - That or its

    me in a playful mood and him reluctantly obliging. What do you

    think? Does the contrast make it seem odd and creepy or is it just

    annoying?
