Shooting right handed but left eyed is something I've had to do from the moment I picked up a camera. I lost my right eye, for the most part, around age 8. I was in an accident and my eye was sliced open by glass,13 stitches believe or not. So my nose gets in the way when using the viewfinder, though I mostly use live view when shooting a landscape or something. I can't say it has any real effect on my photography, it's just the way it is, I guess over the years I have compensated for it, my left eye is very strong. With regards to guns (rifles) I shoot left handed like Mr Purdy above, I find it a little awkward to hold but I can consistently hit a matchbox at 50 yards without using a rest firing a 22 Winchester under lever. No great feat but I don't own a gun or shoot regularly. I've never tried larger calibres at longer ranges but I'm confidant I could do well. Tried bows left handed with some success too!
PS I had some colour slides given to me of the operation, mostly close ups/macros. I think I'll dig them out and get them scanned, could be interesting!

Hi, You could try and release shutter by pushing the mirror up button on lens. Take a pin or paper clip and insert into the mirror up cable release socket then push it, you should feel it move. If it works you can at least remove the lens. But it sounds like some other mechanical problem. Here is manual that might be of use if you do not have one. Good luck!

Is the lens jammed in Mirror Lock Up? Red collar still visible after removing a cable? If so re insert the cable and remove again until the red collar retracts, my camera shipped in this state so you can imagine my frustration when appeared to be not working.

Thanks for the response, I kind of thought as much but didn't really see the point of the frame lines, I just needed clarification.
Thank you!

Hi, I recently bought a RZ67 pro II and wanted to ask if the frame lines in the finder represent the final image crop after processing and printing? I notice that there is extra space beyond the frame lines, should this area be ignored when framing? The manual states that the finder is 95%, is this the area within the frame lines with the area beyond making up the 5% to make 100%? or is the entire view with the area beyond the frame lines 95% meaning I would have to consider 5% beyond what I can see in the finder?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Here is a link to a manual if you do not have one. It is in two parts, on page 20 of part one you will find the heading: Electronic Warning Sounds. This page describes when and why the sounds activate without warning lights.
Hope this is helpful!
