  1. I wouldn't normally comment on other comments, but in this case I thought I'd add that I was trying to frame with the trees, and the angle of the tower is a deliberate part of the composition. I did also take several "postcard" style photos, but after i got the roll back, I thought this one was the most interesting ....

But as always, we always like our own work the best ... are the trees effective as a frame? or are they too distracting?

  2. I'm happy with the composition of this .... and I like the starkness

of the B&W, but I also like the pink hues from the impending sunset.

Which one do you prefer????? Trying to decide which way I should

    display it.

  3. These flowers just seem to have a motion and dynamic all their own,

and I did my best to capture it.

Technical comments appreciated, and also would love to hear any

comments if you have ideas on contolling depth of field in a digi-cam

    Thanks

    Eiffel Tower

          4

When I was in Paris, I wanted to try to capture a photo of the Eiffel

Tower that wasn't just like every other tourist snapshot.

The most common question I get when people see the print in my house

is "what the heck is this?" And I usually make them try to guess

before I reveal the what the subject is.
