I know how hard it is to get this shot given that this is a highly visited tourist spot! Goodness knows how many times I've tried to get an aesthetic view, without the people in the picture making it look like a hotch-potch.

I haven't yet found the right mix of people, space and light to make this photo come out to my taste.

In your picture, the wall is completely dark, what I think would look good is if a few names on the wall were visible and then it blurred away to the Washington monument in the distance.

As you may know, the location information gets carried over in the upload form during multiple posts, so I guess this one slipped through the cracks...

I am not too happy with the background myself. Also, the light that day was not too great either.
