Thanks so much for your comments! I really need help. I shot this with my Nikkor 50mm 1.8

I just did portraits the other day and shot with my 18-55mm and the 50. I used the 18-55 in auto-focus sometimes and it still looked bad/blurry. I know for a fact that when I am in manual mode I have a hard time focusing. I think I do need an eye check or something. But, to be in auto and still have a problem makes me worried that my D5100 has some internal issues. I just dont know for sure. 

To be honest, I'm not skilled technically with photography. Its my weak point. So, any advice would be so helpful.

Not sure if there is something wrong with my eyes or I'm doing something

wrong technically but lately I've been getting a lot of images come out

blurry. I use manual most of the time, but have been having to switch to

auto because of my clarity issue....anyone have suggestions? Its very

frustrating.
